I was one of the first tenants to move into the empress when it was first built. I was so excited to live in downtown and experience city living. All, I can say my experience was both positive and negative.
The apartment used to be runned by Phillips Real Estate before being turned over to another company. Good luck in trying to find the manager. The office was mostly closed and maintenance request took forever.
Good luck in trying to get decent sleep. Harborview Helicopters constantly flew over the apartments all through out the night and on top of that you'll hear, blasting sirens and constant street noises.
Summer time is HOT and you'll be forced to sleep with your windows open. It's a double edged sword! Also..if you have severe pollen allergies..this particular location carries some serious dose of tree pollen. I was constantly sneezing and rubbing my eyes. Oh my god! It was horrible!!!
I feel sorry for anybody that buys a condo from this place. They used cheap materials and the walls are very thin! Parking is cramped and guests are forced to pay parking to visit you! Reaally sucks!
I would not recommend this place!
