Don't let management fool you

My boyfriend and I searched for weeks for a place in Seattle and at the time, we were so pleased with Executive Estates. Although they didn't have a washer and dryer in the unit and it was older than most places, the price was great! I was impressed with management, they were friendly...
In regards to management, just wait until you've signed the lease and are LOCKED IN. It was day and night. You talk to one person who tells you one thing, and then you talk to the main manager and it's a different story. Overall, they were no longer FRIENDLY.
Maintenance was great. They came within 24 hours to resolve any issues. I preferred to call them directly instead of going through the office.
Parking and security SUCKS! We had our cars broken into at least 5 times. They didn't take anything, because we didn't leave anything in the car. Still, it sucks to have your window broken when you're running late for work. They do have night watch service, but it's such a big complex. Of course management will tell you it's a safe neighborhood. YOUR CARS ARE NOT SAFE! Don't waste your money on a garage or even a covered spot.
If my boyfriend and I ever move back to Seattle, we definately WILL NOT move into this complex.
