My experience with Executive Estate Aparments was average at best. My overall impression: Managment is unfriendly, but well organized providing a basic level of service. Parking WAS a nightmare. I often found myself racing home after school or work praying that I would find a spot to park somewhere near my building. (I would recommend paying more for your own parking space). The grounds are nice and well kept, but nothing extraordinary. The neighborhood was relatively unsafe (poor lighting and unkept shubbery near the road; car break-ins do occur). The buildings are old and falling apart from the inside out. Odd smells permeate the halls. Downtown commutes are HORRIBLE. Rent is reasonable and apartments are spacious. I would recommend this apartment complex for students or first-time renters.

I'm not understanding your complaint about downtown commute. You can take a 20 min bus ride express from FEET from your apartment door. MT 77. Don't blame I5 mess. It is closer then a lot of places and probably the best access in Northgate.
