Dirty walls, floors. The "beautiful rooftop garden" is almost a barren wasteland; and all of the furniture has been 'tastefully' chained to any stationary object. There are two trees trying to survive! My thoughts are with them. Only use the grill if you don't mind eating some of your neighbors meat from last summer. The laundry rooms are ok. Not up to "luxury" standards by any means. As long as none of your clothing touches the floor, you only have to wash it once. Have fun taking your recycling down to main level. Imagine a garbage dump in Bosnia during their civil war. Add to this absolutely zero amenities and plenty of noise from 1st Avenue and you have yourself an overpriced, cute apartment right downtown. Hopefully you don't own a car, either. Good luck with the parking options nearby. Keep searching for a different apartment. You'd do better taking a more generic apartment with amenities such as an onsite manager, parking, gym, pool, washer/dryer in apartment, etc.
