The apartments are nice, BUT.....

I'll make this clear from the beginning, I have not lived in this complex, but a very close friend of mine does. She lives alone with her three children there, and it is honestly pretty damn scary sometimes. I spend quite a few evenings a week with her and her family, and there is CONSTANT comings and goings in the next apartment over. My suspicion is drugs. Nice.
All that management can say is to call 911' Sorry, but no.
There were about 4-5 vehicles parked in front of her apartment that NEVER MOVED. She made a complaint and finally they were moved, but they had been sitting there for 4 weeks. Management NEVER noticed.
It is gated, but people piggyback in behind you all the time. To make matters worse, about a week ago someone hit the gate and now it doesn't shut at all.
There are times where it feels just like a third world country just going there.
The kitchen is just a step up from creative camping, there is NO counter space whatsoever. There is not enough kitchen/pantry storage.
There is a drainage problem and the lawn is constantly soggy, and the playground has a hole in one of the platforms that kids have fallen into and gotten hurt.
