Am i the only one who liked it here' Maybe i don't whine enough to rank with other reviews, but i just read a bunch of them and I swear i can practically hear them pouting in between sentences. My apartment was on the top floor in between buildings a little closer to the back, so noise was never much of a problem, although i could still hear the occasional party accross the street or from deeper in the neighborhood, but nothing to keep me up at night. My neighbors weren't as chatty as i thought they would be in the U-district, but maybe i just ended up with all the honor students or something. And the management never did anything wrong that i saw, but like any decent renter, i never really had to talk to them. This is probably why you read so much about people's bad experiences with management, since someone who pays their rent on time and doesn't trash the place or leave it dirty when they move out wouldn't have to even associate with the management in the first place, just pay your rent on time and go about your business. Anyone who has to cross paths with management as much as i'm reading in a lot of these reviews is probably too dumb or pompous to see that they're the reason for the trouble to begin with. On a side note, however, definitely read the fine print on the lease, i almost got screwed by not writing down when i planned to leave, i guess the management doesn't send out notices when people's leases end. If it weren't for me calling the office about closing my utilities the month i left, i would have had to pay for another month!

Overall, i guess i don't have too much experience renting, (only my second place since i started school), but i don't think this place deserves all the crap written here. You'd think it was some sort of slum by the way people talk, but it was nice, newer, and I really liked living this close to School and the park, but my rent went a little too high for me to stay by myself in a one-bedroom, which sucks, but maybe if i can get a roommate, i'll come back. But seriously, screw roommates.
