On the positive side, I suppose the rent would be considered affordable. The common areas were reasonably clean, and one parking spot is allotted to each apartment. If you have more than one vehicle, however, you park across from the golf course and sometimes have your vehicle pummelled with golf balls. The day I submitted my lease application, management stated that a ceiling fan would be installed before I moved in, in the dining room. About six months later (or so), I reminded management about this, and if I am not mistaken, it still took a couple of months more to get the ceiling fan. When I moved in, there was a problem with water on the bathroom floor, which I brought to the attention of the handyman, who remarked that the toilet just "sweats", no big deal. When I moved out, I was charged for the water damage to the floor. Noise is definitely a problem. I could hear every move my upstairs neighbors made, including their alarm clock going off in the mornings. Many neighbors had large dogs, some of which were not on leashes. Even though the "rules" stated that dogs had to be leashed, this was obviously not enforced. There were often small children out in the parking lot raising a ruckus, with no parents in sight. While living there, my car was stolen from the parking lot while I slept. Management gave no evidence of concern. If none of these issues are of concern to you, then it could be the perfect place for you.
