Never Live Here

First of all, the manager here is a very shady woman. She gets a thrill out of towing cars. My roommates car got towed when we moved in. The landlord had forgotten that she had already given that parking spot to someone else when she assigned it to my roommate. So her car ended up getting towed. This place isn't as cheap as it should be for a place with no amenities. The buildings are all supposed to be smoke free. People can only smoke outside. This is what the apartment manager told us when we moved in. That is also a lie. The people who lived below us smoked in their apartment all the time, and the smell of it would come in through the open windows into our apartment. Another thing: when we moved in we were told the water bill wouldn't exceed $50. My friend who also lives here was told the bill would exceed $100. And there have been times when the water bill would be near $200. And this is only for a month! The apartment manager doesn't even do a walk-through when you first move in. She just gives you a check list and says "Fill this out and let me know if anything needs to be fixed". It does, but not for a couple of weeks. The maintanance isn't always the best here, either. There were two bathrooms in my apartment, and in the master bathroom the toilet need fixing. The maintanance guy came by to fix it, and left me a note saying that the toilet was fine, nothing needed fixing. He checked the wrong toilet! There is also a lot of noise at this place. The quiet hours are supposed to be between 10pm-8am, but people are loud in the parking lot at 2 in the morning. Oh, and another thing that they don't tell anyone when you're moving in. No one gets the deposit back when they move out. The landlord puts it towards the final water bill, which lately, has been on average over $100/month. So don't expect to see any of your deposit back if you live here. Oh, and one more thing. If you move into an apartment with new carpet here, you won't be allowed to have a pet, not even a cat, not even if you pay the pet fee. But the landlord does say that you can have an exotic pet, however. That doesn't even make any sense!

To be honest this place is not a junk yard! they don't assign parking spots. maybe next time tell them the right bathroom to fix. you must of trashed your apt to not receive your deposit? thank god your out of here go back to your trailer house. my neighbor is a cop what noise? I was told no pets! as far as the water is concerned tell the rest of your family find their own place maybe your bill won't be so high?
