Jefferson Square, Deceptive...

Face it; this place is dirty. In every sense of the word
The security gates have been left broken for long periods of time. The common-areas are tagged, reek of cigarettes, and always smells like a wet dog. The trash rooms overflow with bags of garbage and peoples unwanted items. Dog waste is prevalent all over the grounds. Our vehicles have been broken into at least three times since I've lived here, and even recently our mailboxes were broken into.
Our residential units are filled with cracking walls, water damage, spiders, outdated appliances, cheap carpets, old and cracked windows, and most importantly, MOLD. (Crystal s solution' Crack a window. Even in winter.)
Maintenance issues take multiple requests to be completed. (I don't blame Chuck; it s obvious that he's stretched thin trying to keep everything from busting at the seams).
But what does Jefferson Square do about all of these problems' Their standard operating procedure Be deceptive. Let s try to make everything look prettier. Let s re-landscape a few flowerboxes. Remodel the Activities & Exercise Rooms. Why wasn t money for this new remodel better invested by upgrading appliances, installing energy-efficient windows (goodbye mold!), and repairing the many badly-damaged walls. I don't think it was taken into consideration that the contrast to these 'new' spaces to the residential units will be even starker.
Jeff Square & HSC/Riverstone is being deceptive, trying to stave-off a mass exodus from the complex by all the pissed-off residents. They care more about getting people in the door and signing a lease on an over-priced unit than actually keeping a resident here.
I m so happy my lease is almost up. The rent is too high for what you get in return. Parking rates are high, and the ISTA/Water rates are even higher. I ve never felt so much hatred for a place I ve lived in. Do not consider this complex. You re better off living just about anywhere.
