Don't Move here!!!!

I've live @ the John Alden for 2 years. I love the building and the other tennants very much, but with the new managment feeling any sort of comfort in the building is hard. I was paying $625.00 for a small studio facing the adjacent building (I could literally reach out my window and touch the place). The AC vent from the adjacent building was right in front of my window, so it made summers very unbearable (100 degrees plus inside the apt) because the vent would blow hot air nonstop into my apt. With such a reasonable monthly rent I saw this as something that I could somewhat live with. Then out of nowhere the building was sold and is now under new mamagement. Like I said, my rent was $625 and the new managment jacked it up to $900 PLUS 45 water/sewer. That's just outrageous!!!! I strongly reccommend that you do not move in here. The "family" atmosphere is completely gone. And more than 1/2 the building has (or is) vacating. These new people are total slum lords and unfortunately they are going to turn this beautiful piece of property into a --------. Do not trust these people.
