I moved into the John Alden apartments a few months ago and it is like a breath of fresh air. The apartments are kept up beautifully! The management is excellent here! If the former management was below average, the current manager, Julie has turned things around completely. I am so impressed with her responsiveness, follow through, high standard of care for the apartments and the tenants, and her kindness. Pets are allowed here, we are blocks from downtown...this is a wonderful place to live in every regard.

You're a ------- idiot if you think the new management "turned things around" either that or you are the new management. Have you even read any of the previous posts? The building was awesome BEFORE the new management came aboard.

I'm considering moving in to this building. I wonder why suddenly there are so many vacancies - I saw 6 apartments empty. They all looked great. And Julie seemed quite responsive, warm, and responsible. To the satisfied tennant, are you still happy there 5 weeks after your last comment?

Yes, I am still very happy. I don't know what accounts for so many vacancies, but all is well here. I am still very happy at the John Alden. The management really is accomodating and down to earth.
