I moved in here almost 3 years ago. It was great for the first year. The building was built in 2000 so all the appliances, carpeting are new. Thats about the only good thing.

When I moved in I was told for two years that my parking spot was part of my rent/lease, and that I was not allowed to sublet it (since I didn't have a car). After two and a half years, and now finally have a car to use that space, they informed us they were now subletting OUR spots, during the day. Its an obvious show that they care more about making money, than their tenants. I can't sublet my parking spot for two years due to lease terms, but now you can'

Theres only one good staff member, Nicole. She has been great, courteous and genuine since the day I moved in. The other couple of staff members are useless: too busy trolling on myspace.com or checking their email. Never ever ever in during posted office hours, always late or somehow "gone".

To top it off, the management, or those two other awful employees, seems to have lowered their screening standards for tenants. About 6 months ago a tenant moved in beneath me who was loud and partied all the time. I made a noise complaint; nothing happened of it, the tenants were still loud. I stomped on the floor one nite and someone came up trying to break my door down and shouting and cussing through the door to me. I again notified management. I'm not sure they even cared.

I feel sorry for the honest small families that live here that can't afford someplace better. Someone has peed in the elevator three times now, in the last 2 months. This is all a result I believe, of management not running criminal background checks before renting, and their lack of a solid screening process on who they rent to. P

I came home the other night at 2am to find the garage permanently open. This is unsafe for the tenants with the homeless population around. This has happened multiple times, where the staff just "forgets" to close the garage door, leaving all the tenants, and the cars vulnerable to almost anything.

The only good thing about this place is that I'm now leaving.

If you want a frat house/sorority where you can party and be loud, move here. If you're a single person, roommates, or small family, who want peace and quiet and a secure building, don't even think about moving here.

They've also raised rent on me multiple times, ridiculously high for a one bedroom

I would like to repost a comment on behalf of King Arthur's Court. Unfortunately We can't make everyone happy. In regards to the parking there is a legal binding contract that makes it required for us to share parking with the building next to us that the company fought against for 7 years before it was no longer an option. As a company there are also legal standards for screening all residents in the building however unfortunately we cannot control the actions of other people once they pass our all but easy screening criteria. Yes each time a noise complaint is given by any resident there is a noise complaint that is delivered and filed away (for proof later). There are also laws that govern what an apartment manager can and can't do and again unfortunately we are unable to make someone move (at least immediately) for being rude or otherwise unrulely. Which is why it is highly recommended to call the police in any given situation that has to deal with the acts of people who don't give a damn about other people which in this world you will find everywhere you go and live! We do not have control over how other people choose to act. It is a long drawn out process to be able to evict someone on several different reasons. I can guarantee you that in every situation that I have had the opportunity to legally evict those all but favorable residents I have!! It's always harder to understand things when your on the outside looking in. I take pride in my job and it bothers me when I do make every effort to ensure the comfortability of my residents and have someone leave because they are unhappy. Constructive critism is a wonderful thing because it does give people the opportunity to do things better the next time around but it is also helpful when knowing the facts.
