This was my first apartment on my own after moving from my mom's place in the government housing project we lived in.
It had JUST been renovated.
I thought for sure it would have roaches like the housing projects, but no.
It doesn't look that nice and the area is somewhat depressing, but in hindsight it was a nice place and I didn't have too much trouble.
The building looks good on the outside and the carpet wasn't old and worn out - it was tasteful.
My neighbors son used to sit on the stairwell near my apt door smoking marijuana in the morning (illegal activity) but that was about all that happened.
No vandalism and no one stole my car.
The laundry room was clean and not vandalized.
Everything worked.
No toilet problems or whatever.
Not noisy.
The managers were nice women.
I recently moved to a bad apartment in Charlotte (Brittany Apts - not listed at this site), and from now on I will be reviewing this before moving anywhere.
