I have lived at Lake Washington for 8 years and would not live anywhere else. I m close to transit, grocery shopping, downtown, and the airport. I also like the diversity in both the community and at Lake Washington. And I like the continues improvements the property owners are doing

This is clearly a post from the management trying to even up the reviews. AF Evans management is the worst in property management history. They just want to collect a small amount of money while they wait to bulldoze these apartments. I've seen the rent schedule they are anticipating. They believe that by 2011 they can get 1,235 a month for a studio, and of course prices go up from there! Are you kidding??? With all the drugs and shootings in this complex, you'd have to give tenants free rifles for moving in, and let's not forget that over a third of the residents are directly involved in these shootings. DO NOT MOVE TO LAKE WASHINGTON APARTMENTS! You will get hit by a stray bullet, your car will be broken into or stolen, people will defacate or urinate on your front door, or have sex in your hallway, whichever strikes their fancy first. And probably the worst, you'll never get a wink of sleep because of all the police activity. With a high school across the street, kids don't even stand a chance in this neighborhood! Gang members in the area make a sport out of beating up seven and eight year olds for their bicycles, read the crime reports over the last three years. It makes me almost want to cry that these poor kids are being corrupted so soon by what they see of their neighbors.
