You don't want to live here...

To be honest I'm shocked anyone would recomend this place. I guess at one time it was a nice place to live. It may even be on it's way to being one again, but it isn't yet... far from it.
I'm going to give you just a taste, a small sampling if you will, of some of the transgrssions I've experianced while living here.
1 - They painted the hallways and told no one. No warnings, no "Wet Paint" signs. The family ruined their jackets, and the kids got some paint on their pants.
2 - The only time I recall them giving us enough warning on something was when they "re-did" the parking lot. They made a huge stink about it, made us all park at a grocery store and highschool that are next door. Then all they did was give the place a thin coat of tar and repainted the lines a week later... after they had allowed us to park anyway.
3 - The neigbors are loud, inconsiderate, and messy. I have dealt with the following almost one a weekly basis - shouting, swearing, loud banging, loud music, crude loud music (if I hear one more song about 'gimme dat p---y' I'm going to get violent), police, garbage in the halls, dog waste in the halls, planters, sidewalk, large dogs without leashes, the smell of dog feces wafting in the hall, people blocking the stairwell while they smoke indoors, people blocking the entrance/exit just sitting/standing around, bad parking that takes up several spaces, derelict cars parked in prime parking for longer than 6 months.... I can go on!
4 - All notices are dated well before they actually reached anyone. (I recieved a warning that the laundry would be closed hours before it was shut down, and the paper was dated 3 days prior)
5 - Just the other day, I went to drop off my rent. The office was closed (they like to close it sporatically for no known reason) so I deposited it in the drop box. Returned to apartment, upon leaving said apartment found a "Pay or move out" notice taped to the door that had been marked as being delivered to me personally. I was home. Had they simply knocked on the door I would have told them I dropped off the rent. They NEVER bother to knock, they only tape things to your door.
6 - Garbage. They put a trash compactor right next to our building, taking away 2 parking spaces near the building. There is space for this monstrocity elsewhere. They use the planter near it to dump all kinds of furniture. Old smelly matresses are consistantly dropped off and either played on by the children, or picked up by people who apparently don't have access to Craigslist.
Overall, this place is horrible. They slapped on some new paint, and put up a guard post to make it look like some nice gated community- it isn't.
DON'T MOVE HERE!!! I'm getting out a.s.a.p.
And "lakeside living" is a total joke. It's close to the lake, but you can't see it from the apartments, and nobody there owns a boat or has a place to store it!
