I stayed at the Lenawee a couple of years ago. Not sure if the managers are the same b/ they did keep the building in good condition. In general, I enjoyed my time there except for the cons mentioned by other reviewers and the few times the managers were in a bad mood. The rent went up twice while I was there and this was before the recession, which is why I decided to move. The management letter claims they very rarely raise the rent b/ by that point I had hit my threshold for the amount of space I was paying for. The managers were unnecessarily abrasive at times that were uncalled for.
For example, memorial day (Monday) at 1pm, I had the music on at a volume I could hear from the shower (short time). Next, a loud banging from the manager threatened he wasn't going to tolerate the noise and would be my one and only warning (or else I'll get evicted). It was a big turn off for me, especially when they were horribly disrespectful to my family when they were helping me move out. It was unprofessional on their part.
