This was a great Building until it was taken over by Riverstone Residential group this year.

Run don't walk away from this property.

It is poorly managed and maintained.

The hallways smell of garbage, and mainteneance is poor (often the elevators are out of order.

And whe you move out they'll try to screw you out of every penny.

The neighboor hood has become crime ridden with shootings and stabbings.

The alley next to the property is allways full of garbage, and the garbage trucks run all night long - it's so noisy you'll never sleep.

Do not rent here.

This review is riddled with false information. As a current tenant, I have to say that 90% of the information in this review is wrong. The building is well maintained. The halls do not smell of garbage and maintenance is excellent. The management company may have changed but it is still the same staff. Both maintenance and office staff seem to actually care about tenants and the building. Pioneer Square can be pretty crazy at times but the craziness stops outside the building. If you do not want to hear noise and deal with the occasional bum than do not move to Pioneer Square or downtown Seattle for that matter. This should not be a reflection of the building. If you are looking for a great place to live and does not cost an arm and a leg, this is a good spot.
