It's loud, but the view makes it almost totally worth it.

Well, if you love the night life and don't spend much time at home, this is the perfect urban jumping off point for you. It is central to all the hip night spots here on cap hill. Hailing a cab is never a problem at the 7-11 fifty feet away. But if you pay rent for a place to live and ever need to sleep, there are a few problems. The building is located on the major arterial route from harbor view to the CD. Sirens at all hours, no exaggeration, will serenade you through the days and nights. Not to mention, the fire station and police stations are mere blocks away. It's a regular 1-adam-12 fest around here. Toss is some road noise from motorcycles, scooters, poorly mufflered cars, vans and city buses and it's a total symphony of urban noises. Spice with drunks and loud folks 'doing their thing' from 10pm to 4am and I think you get the picture. Quite time around here is between 4am and 5:30am, if you are lucky. But the view, it is amazing! It is virtually unobstructed. From our apartment you can see from West Seattle all the way around to the Aurora Bridge. Well you could, until the Braeburn went up. Then there are the trolls who congregate on the roof, which is conveniently located over your living room and kitchen. They must all wear steel toed boots while the practice their tap dancing. Oh, there is no restriction to the time of day you can access the roof, so feel free to come up anytime. Calling the property manager gets nothing done. Drink beer, smoke and yell all you want. This place is a total party. Only thing missing is you. The roof situation was better when access was controlled and there were strict limitations on when you could be up there. We'll be moving soon, so this noisy hipster hangout with the million dollar view could be yours for only the price of lost sleep and some Benjaminâs.
