Living at Madison Gate was average at best. The noise coming through the poorly constructed, paper thin walls was at times unbearable. Maintenance requests were acknowledged but rarely fixed properly and due to the age and construction of the building, you will get a alot of maintenance requests. The move out experience was the worst. $450 is required for a deposit but you will not get that back. We hired maids to deep clean the apartment for nearly 3 hours at a cost of $200 to us. Needless to say, the apartment was more clean than when we moved in. Despite this, the management claimed that the apartment was generally "dirty" and took out nearly $100 from the deposit. This was in addition to the non-refundable "cleaning fee" that tenants have to pay when moving in.
