If you don't have pets, look elsewhere

Pros: Great location, nice quiet building, friendly manager(although passive-aggressive at times), friendly neighbors, and most important - pet friendly. Short-term leases.
Cons: Small (less than 600 sq. ft) units that are incredibly over-priced. Parking is expensive. There are much better deals on Capitol Hill. Although well-maintained, the building is old and taking a shower is an exercise in patience (water changes mid-shower from warm to freezing to scalding). Laundry room is a pain to get to and scary at times. Also since the building is older, the heating system is annoying at times (too hot or too cold) and it makes noise.
For the most part I enjoyed my stay here, but was happy to move out when my lease came up. It's just too expensive for how small my apartment was. If you have pets or want a short-term lease then I'd say check it out. They always seem to have apartments available.
