Malloy Apartments

I wish I could take the Malloy wherever I go From: awaldron Date posted: 5/11/2007 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   I miss living at the Malloy. Not only is the location great, but it really felt like home. The managers Cathy and Jack make the place even more special. Not only did they help us whenever we needed it, but they went out of their way to be sure all the residents felt welcome and had many awesome get togethers so you can mingle with your neighbors. I have never met 2 cooler managers in all my years of renting. Anywhere you live in the U-District will be noisy to a degree since it is a major college area. But the units are so well insulated that you never hear your neighbors. If you want to hang pics, ask Cathy or Jack & they will advise you. The molding around the ceiling has a gap & you can use plate hangers that can be purchased from the Ace hardware on the Ave. The apartment is unique & eclectic, and our 1 bedroom had a view of the Space Needle. My wife & I only wish that we could find a "Malloy" in every city we move to. We miss you Cathy & Jack!
