frustrating place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/3/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Building began the replacement of windows in mid-September and did not finish until sometime in December. Never informed tenants that the entire building would be encased in plastic for over 3 months. On-site management is friendly, if not altogether organized, but the larger company- Essex- is unreachable, uninterested, and completely unconcerned with the well being of the residents. While we have enjoyed the pet friendly environment, I couldn't recommend this building to anyone else. Living in a bubble for 3 months without being compensated, or even informed, is an egregious act of mismanagement. Parking is affordable, but frequently broken into, and not addressed by management. Noise is acceptable, and surprisingly light for the primarily young tenants. Grounds are ugly. With the exception of the parking garage, the building is safe.
