Disgusting and scary From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/10/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   Do NOT let the Web site fool you. This place sucks harder than an Oreck vacuum. Anything with fabric on it in my apartment is badly stained. Frankly, I don't want to know with what. The bathtub had a nice smattering of pubes when I moved in. A real treat. Also fun ... CRACKHEADS!!! Sure, they gather at the little park across the street (which also has dogs going buckwild at all hours), but then some of them hit a windfall playing the lotto from the grocery across the street and then move themselves in here. Great. Nothing says welcome home like the sweet smell of burning crack wafting down the hall. If you're looking for drugs, living here is a great choice. You can usually find a dealer (or at least a user) on the roof deck. The noise at night from the drug addicts and drunk clubbers is obtrusive and because the building is so f#@$ing hot all summer (no ventilation), you can either sweat in semi-silence or have a slight breeze with a faint tinge of crack smoke wafting in. Parking is a total joke. You can either pay around $175 for a garage or lot spot that isn't necessarily any safer than street parking or you can deal with the meters. I'm lucky because I would usually come home after 6 p.m. when parking was free, but then I'd have to fight all the barhoppers and club clowns for a spot -- all to get into an apartment that was smaller than my car in the first place. Some of the people in this building aren't bad. Three-quarters of the people who work at the front desk are actually very pleasant people. But most of the residents are disgusting, slobby and worthless and scary to share a building with. Make sure to check out the sex offender registry online before you move in. Those creepers aren't the only deliquents in here.
