McGuire looks nice on the surface. Staff is courteous, however, the mgmt will gouge you for items that just arent worth it.
Example: Parking-the garage is one of the WORST I have see. 4 pt turns are required to get in and out of spaces. I have 12 new dings in my car, thanks to careless people that live in this bldg. Think the McGuire is going to help me pay for that' HA!
Extending your lease' Expect to pay more, unless you are signing a lease LONGER than your original. Example: You want to stay a few months longer and go month to month' Your rent goes up, and on the renewal sheet, there's an additional, unlabeled, mystery 50.00 fee (lord knows what that's for...)
Lastly, the place is a frat house (if you are looking for this kind of environment, then its fine). Its not the place for young professionals. Example: Dis-courteous, immature people partying out on the common area until 4AM. This is not isolated-it happens all the time. Bottle throwing, throwing-up all over the place and not cleaning things up, etc-it is absolutely horrendous. Occasionally you will see the riff-raff living there have their local "suppliers" over to the common areas to party (Im not talking about the Safeway delivery man).
Overall, the place was VERY disappointing and Im so happy to be leaving. It's definitely not worth what they charge.
