The place is pretty much meant for 20-somethings or anyone else that still likes to live like one, so expect to see a bunch of em. Probably drunk too. The concrete construction prevents a lot of noise from leaking, and it's pretty hard to hear anything outside the apartment. You can sometimes hear noise between the walls, since they're not concrete, but I didn't have a single noise problem. Overall, the place was great. The windows are huge (floor to ceiling) and the view is rad.
Problems:
1. Hot as ---- in the summer. Those floor to ceiling windows are great, but trap a ton of heat. There was an air conditioner, but it was only in the living room so the bedrooms remained around 85 or so at peak of summer time.
2. Cold as ice in the winter. Again, those windows. Luckily there's heat in every room so it's not too big of a deal.
3. There was construction outside our window for 2 months and a great deal of noise from it, but it was an unusual circumstance: they had to repair some cracks in the exterior concrete so it wasn't a common occurrence. Still, it was irritating, but at least they compensated our rent some.
Overall, a great place, but if you're a conservative person, probably not your thing. But then again, why the hell would you live in Belltown if you can't tolerate that sort of crowd.
