McGuire Apartments

Reasonable for Belltown, Noise-free From: halfzaftig Date posted: 4/28/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I've been here almost two years. The staff has always been personable with me, and addressed any questions. I never hear my neighbors, and I almost never see them, either, except in elevators. The parking garage is like any other downtown garage - if you're driving an SUV, you're going to have issues. There have been a couple of breakins in the garage since I've been here, but it's not a regular occurrence. The lower floors definitely seem to have the younger bar-hopping crowd, so if you want less contact with those sorts, live on a higher floor. I like having W&D in the unit, I've got a fantastic view, and utility bills are low. I also rent a couple of extra storage units on the 2nd floor, that's nice to have as an option. I feel safe and the maintenance staff are great. I don't know what else you really would want from an apartment downtown. I guess it would be nice to be able to paint an accent wall color myself, but that's a trade-off from living in a union building. It can get a little toasty in the summer, but it's usually bearable with fans. In the winter, I almost never turn on the heat. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
