I lived at Melrose on the Hill and it seemed really great at first. Nice place, granite counter tops, nice appliances, etc. The manager lived on site and she was really good at fixing items that broke down & the place seem to run smoothly.
Then they had a change of managment and decided to have a manager that lived off site. He doesn't bother to answer his phone & comes off very rude. Anytime things went wrong he wasn't there to fix them nor did he bother to call you back.
One major thing is that they have a really old elevator in the apartment building which breaks down constantly - the manager does not find it a priority to fix. If you lived on the top floor you're out of luck, it means trucking all of your groceries, luggage and garbage up & down 10 flights of stairs. It has been known to be down for up to 6-7 days. The garbage is also hard to access which means you have to track your garbage all the way down 10 flights of stairs and outside in the dumping rain which causes the stairwells to reek of garbage. The stairwells also have poor lighting which seem to burn out without any replacements being upkept.
If you have any packages management doesn't bother to accept them or if they do they leave them out to be stolen.
The elevator reeks & was never taken care of.
If high price living with poor management is for you than this is your place.
