Someone vomited in the elevator and it still smells like it. The trash compactor for the building is leaking and the smell in the garage is horrible.
There's nothing blocking the noise form one floor to another. This is the loudest apartment I've ever lived in. Some of the tenates smoke so much pot that the elevators still smell like it after they step off.
My car has dings and scratches from someone placing boxes on my car. There's even a large dent from someone backing into my car.
The parking spaces are too small for a small car and they allow SUVs to park there. The SUVs take up 2 spots or they take the hanidcap spots. No one does anything about the garage.
Apartment staff is nice until you rent here then they won't even pick up the phone.

I discovered the vomit the other reviewer mentioned by stepping in it. The elevators do still smell.
The building is in the process of being sold so HSC management has cut back on the work force. Right now there's only the manager and 1 part time leasing agaent and the manager is also covering the Sevi. It's impossible to get a package from the office even if they were there to sign for it. Management doesn't return phone calls and could care less.
That also means that they've cut back on everything. They've even turned off the fans in the garage so the smell from the dumpsters goes through the elevator shafts. The fountain in the courtyard has not worked in months. Right now the water in it is green.
The building is poorly constucted so you can hear everything your neighbors do - and I mean everything. It also means that it's impossible to get any sleep. Between the noise from the street and the neighbors the noise is impossible to escape.
The maintenance crew has entered my apartment several times without my permission or notice from them that they were going to be entering my apartment. They also never left anything telling they had been in there. The only way I knew was when I called to complain about the mess they left.
The elevators have been acting up too. I'm afraid to use them now. I don't want to get stuck in one when there's no one in the office.
When I moved in I was told that the utilities would be cheap. My electric bill has been $150 and my water bill goes up every month. I was told it would be around $20 but in reality it's now up to $70 a month for a one bedroom with one person. The fees alone are $20 a month for the water.
I feel like I've been lied to and ripped off. I was assured that this would be a quiet apartment and it's the worst one I've ever lived in. I also feel ripped off for paying so much money for a small apartment without any staff. You're basically getting a room and nothing else. Why pay so much for nothing. There are better places to live.

I totally agree as well - I love the part that the staff is friendly until you've moved in - so true... they over the top nice and once you live here - they are down right rude! The garabe is an absolute nightmare. The new staff thought it would be a great idea to clean the carpets in the halls on an 80 degree day - they didn't put out fans to dry the carpets so now the halls are hot, humid and smell like a wet dog. Oh, how much I love this building!
