For starters, $905 a month for a 1 bedroom is pretty steep. But when your "new" apartment smells like urine and the carpet is stained and the doors dont shut properly and the toilet leaks; it's even worse.
The neighborhood however is my biggest complaint. 6th & South Washington seems like an okay place to live during the day but at night it can be terrifying. There's two parking lots in front of the building. One of which I'm pretty sure I saw a dead guy in. To your left is the Metro bus station and China town. Not the best place to be buying groceries at 8pm. And to your right is the freeway and a beautiful park filled with bums and crazy people.
It's only a street above downtown but the walk up the hill back to your apartment is brutal. AND THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS. Unless ofcourse you like being lied to, ignored, and treated like a baby.
PS - "Newly renovated" means construction at 5am right next to your window!

WOW... I strongly disagree with you. The management is very nice that Toni is here. The renovated outside looks great! I am very happy with my apartment as I have lived here 3 yrs. People... don't believe all that you read!
