I'm not sure what's going on with the new leasing agent but I've had several different prices quoted to me for the same EXACT advertised apartment.
For instance, I'll go on CraigsList and find an apartment from the MetParkApts and it will be advertised at one price and then Voila! it costs another when you walk in the door.
In addition, I had asked about a townhome here and was quoted an outrageous price (living here I know what the standard is). THEN, after talking to people who came in for an open house, they were quoted the much lower price that was asked for by the former mgmnt.
WTF!
I live here and can't get a decent deal to save my life but strangers who call from CL and speak to Genesis get a bigger, better deal' What the hell'
Oh and if you try to find her, she's no where to be found during the Open House hours. After I found out the town home was quoted to these people for one price and another to me, I wanted to iron the issue out.
The open house was from 11am to 2pm. It was 12:35pm!! Genesis was GONE-
And of course b/c Genesis is the leasing agent and quoted it to these people and not me, all the residing manager could do was stick to the price quoted to me.
Of course I pressed the issue b/c I wanted the townhome. So, I had the residing manager, Mila, call her managing boss to get this issue squared away. You won't believe this - then, the regional manager, Karen, raised the already higher price quoted to me!!!
So much for building resident loyalty!
When my lease is up all the new mgmt will smell is the rubber burning from my screeching tires as I high tail it out of here!!!
