My roommate read the reviews and they were unfavorable. Initially, I did not put much faith into the management. However, the management proved to be a considerate hard working team of professionals who are also personable. Most of the apts. looked at during my apt. search turned out to be management my the same management company RP. I began to know the individual building managers by name and they were each of them friendly. Our building manager Mila is caring, professional, and just great! I have phenonmenal views of the water, cruise ships, ferry's, the mountains, the city skyline, the Smith Tower, planes, helicopters, I5, Uwajimaya, cops making quota at the 4-way stop sign folks seem to miss, a beautiful community garden. The bank and post office are two blocks up the street. The market is three. We are at 6th & Washington. I was looking for a place I could walk to work from...this is home and I lvoe it. It meets all my needs. I feel safe, but I hold myself accountable for observing my surroundings. The building is safe too. The maintenance staff is prompt, professional, and courteous (David). The area is lively. It is the greatest apartment we could have and we could not be happier. It is a place we ABSOLUTELY LOVE COMING HOME TO. Each morning and each night, we exclaim individually and together "I LOVE OUR APT!" I have heard people who live in the city say they love living in the city. I too have lived in the city. But this type of living right here in this location, with these views, from within walking distance of work saving on a TON of gas to put into the cost of my apartment is TRUE CITY LIVING!!! It's GREAT! I had to get on here and tell folks how much I love my apartment. The rooftop, sauna, and workout facility are bonuses.
