I am very glad I moved out because the last few months, that place has turned into a place for kids going to school, the elevator and hallway smells like a mixture of curry and sweaty stinky underarm and someone puke at the elevator carpet and they tried cleaning the carpet to remove the smell, but the bad smell can't be remove... My trips of moving was very smelly. They had roof top party a few times in the last month when I was there, and a couple of times the noise lasted till after midnight. I don't know how the senior apartment renters across the building handled party like that, I felt like I was too old for that. Then the building across(the old nippon kan theater) still had alarm at 130am in the morning and one time they can never eliminate the alarm and the noise lasted for half an hour. Adding to the noise, the fire department closed by sometimes use the route closed to Yesler and passing by metropolitan just to turn off the alarm. The dump truck make their trips on tuesday at 430am, I really think they banged the garbage container to their truck as many times as it was allowed just to make sure everyone is awakened by it. The new manager only say hello to white people, at first I thought she was a racists but i know she is just a man hater because the ------- looking people she hangs out with and the way they dressed. The month of august, she changed the coding of the parking garage and only gave a few hours noticed and many cars could not get in...a few days later, she surprisingly changed the parking code again for some reason and pissed off many busy people who have no time to get the new parking remote control because they leave for work before the office open and come home after the office close...They also changed the parking assignment without notice and anyone can park anywhere they want but some tenant don't know that and when people park at thier parking space, they get mean sometimes and leave a nasty vulgar note and 1 neighbor car was vandalized because of it. They also changed the lock in the side of the building in 6th ave. and it took me a month to get the new key! After several request for the new key, they stated that they were out and they have to special duplicate it. I feel like they don't trust me with the new key and it really sucks because I don't cook much and I normally buy my food in chinatown 2 times per day and walking back to the apartment uphill is a good exercise but if you suffer asthma like me, I am sure you want to take shortcut by entering the side building instead of walking 50 more feet uphill just to reach the main entrance. By the way, there are times I open the garage exit door and see homeless people sleeping behind the door. The view is nice but it sucks to see drug addict prostitutes having sex in cars in front of the building...Theres a park behind the building where the homeless sleeps and uses the bathroom.
