This was my own experience. Steve called me to let me know that there was a room available in the apartment. I liked the room and told them that I wanted it. When it come to the signing time, the rent went up $80/month. I asked him why the price is different than what he told me. He said the price went up last weekend. So, I asked him if I will still get free 2 months parking if I sign the lease for a year. He said yes. I asked him further if I can cancel the parking at anytime because I have no car - I just need a parking for my boyfriend who will live with me for 10 days at the most. Again, he said yes. I moved in July 31 thinking everything was perfect.

When I sent in a cancelation notice to the parking garage, they wanted to charge me 2 months. I asked them why. They said because you singed the coupon that says you'll have to pay if you canceled it before your lease is up. So, I asked her to send me a copy of that. Turn out, it was not my signature. I called the leasing office and explained the situation to them. After several phone called, I ended up having to pay 1 month. Thanks Cathy for took care of that. I thought that was OK. Hopefully, nothing else goes wrong.

Now, I got a water bill showing the period of 7/27/09-08/02/2009. They charged me the trash service in full though it was only for 3 days. I called them again. I obvious that the bill is wrong because I moved in on July 31. Steve made a copy of my bill and said he will call ista (water bill company) tomorrow. After a week, I asked another leasing agent about it, she said she went online and revised the bill for me. I can just wait for a new bill. Now, a week has gone by, I still haven't got a new bill. I ended up having to pay $32 for my first 3 days.

Other than that, everything is nice.
