Newport heights is an ok apartment complex. When I got there the hot tub was broken. It continued to be broken throughout the entirety of my 7 month lease. I was in a unit that had 2 bed 2 bath with a loft. The whole apartment had just been remodeled. basically new carpet that was ok, the wall had a fresh coat of flat white primer that would scuff anytime you touched it. the windows in the apartment were all very drafty and many of them leaked when it rained hard outside which in Seattle it happens a lot. I liked the complex a lot when Chad was there. Things got done very quickly and the maintenance man was always very friendly. The parking was an issue. I lived above the office and had my own assigned parking space, but there was only room for 1 car. generally people had to park at one of the crappy apartments across the street or on the other end of the complex. DEFINITELY HAGGLE THE RENT PRICE. I signed my lease at $1185 for 7 months. at the end they were losing tenants and she offered me the same place for $1045 a month. Overall I would recommend it if you want to live in Tukwila since it is the nicest complex around.
