Upon moving in, management would not negotiate with me on when I could begin my lease. I could not move in until mid-month. I had to pay the full month because "they didn't want a gap in rent payments" The move-in date was then pushed back because they weren't finished cleaning/painting/whatever. I lived there for over a year, never missed a rent payment. When it came time for me to move, I was appalled at the charges they deducted from my security deposit/ $50 for each LIGHT BULB that had to be replaced. I had a strict no-shoes policy in my apartment but some how they deducted $100 for a carpet cleaning fee on a spotless carpet. There were tiny holes in the wall from pictures which they also charged me for. The list went on and on. By the time it was all said and done; I received less than 1/2 of my $500 deposit back. They are money hungry immigrants who obviously don't understand what it means to be honest and fair.
