I am definitely moving out when my lease up. My rent gets raised by at least $50 every time my lease is up, which is 6 months because the office won't offer a longer lease. They sold my parking spot to somebody else twice before finally realizing that I've been paying for that spot for months. The weather-stripping is terrible and my apartment usually feels cold. They tore out all the trees that were out front and outside of my window (which helped cut down on the noise from the street and offered me a bit more privacy, which I appreciated living almost on street level) in favor of grey concrete. The outside paint job is horrid. Basically, it's a very old building that has been dressed up to appeal to a "higher-class" clientele.
The final straw is that I've had items stolen out of the community laundry room twice, only to have the management tell me that the cameras in the laundry room are for surveillance, not security. Apparently, the camera only covers the section of the laundry room with the high-tech flat screen tv and big comfy chairs (that the management bought with my rent money). Unfortuantely, the cameras don't cover any of the washers and only two of the driers.
