I lived in this complex from October 2003 till October of 2004. My fiance got transferred to Seattle from San Diego so we had to quickly get a apartment close to his job, I wish we would have had more time to decide because we would have gone elsewhere. The apartments are tiny for the price you pay. No dishwashers, the kitchens make you feel claustrophobic, the closets are called "walk in" but they consist of a 1 or 2 foot rod to hang your clothes, not enough for a normal person. The landlord promises to put you on a waiting list for parking because there isnt enough parking for every resident. We live there a whole year and never got a assigned parking place in the garage. We had to fight to find a spot on the street every time we moved our car. Whenever we got a good spot we were hesistant to move so we ended up walking everywhere. The tenants they allow to move in have weird lifestyles so of course all of our neighbors were night owls so we barely got any sleep as the apartments have thin walls and you can hear everything. The hardwood floors are nice but when you have a neighbor above you who is a pacer, its gets annoying. The laundry room consists of 2 washers and 2 dryers, can you tell me that is really practical for a complex with 20 apartments' Paying your rent each month is always a chore because the landlord doesnt not live on site, you either have to chance mailing your payment or driving it down to Lake Union to drop it off, there office was always closed. The landlord stood us up the day of our move out. We were supposed to meet with her to do a walk through and give her our keys, she never showed up. I had to end up mailing her our keys. The only plus to the place is the huge boiler in the basement, so there is a abundance of hot water if you like to take long showers. Most of the tenants are drunks, we had one guy come home late after a night of drinking, decided to punch the glass in the front door and bleed all over the front lobby and up the stairwell to his apartment, it looked like a murder took place there. I would never live there again, what a nightmare.
