The on-site landlady is a nightmare to deal with.

imagine two-face as a woman and someone you owe money to.

Constantly on my --- about the cleanliness of her hallway.

Which is not my responsibility, nor my neighbors.

The walls of every floor had a paint job halfway started, taped, and did not get finished the entire 2.5 years i could bare.

When going from the studio to a one bedroom the manager helped with a price but not with the crooked windows that wouldn't close during cold nights.

Told me to turn on the oven and leave it open! Over-priced Minol(water sewer Garbage) bill made this unit more expensive than my now larger, friendlier, functioning, and convenient building.

Close to emergency room(sirens at night) the now defunct vito's bar(drive-by shootings) and the Frye art gallery.

Read your lease.

I almost got squeezed an extra months rent.

Right on about the manager, she was unbearable up until the moment I left. When I went to hand in my keys she was screaming at a guy for about 20 minutes, while I stood outside her office. His problem wasn't a big deal in my opinion, apparently the guy needed to delay his moving out for a couple days and he had already given notice.
