Stay away! This place has mold and noise problems!

I recently moved out of the Audrey at Belltown (formerly Pinnacle Belltown) and had a terrible experience with mold. When I toured the property, Lynette (leasing agent) told me that there were no mold problems at the property. After I signed the lease and gave her a check, I was given my keys and moved in.
A few days later, Lynette called to say that she had a few more pieces of paperwork for me to sign. One of them was a mold disclosure statement that stated that the property did have mold issues. She swore that all properties in the area had this and stated that if I did not sign it I would have to move out. I was stuck since I had already moved my furniture in and changed all of my addresses for my bills.
I did have significant mold problems in my unit, near the stairs, near the pool, and in the parking garage. I always had very good health, but I developed a mild cough within two weeks of moving into the apartment. The cough disappeared within two weeks of my leaving.
The noise level is very bad because of a freight train that is one block south of the property. It passes by three to five times a night blasting a loud horn that would wake a bear up in the middle of winter. Parties at the Olympic Sculpture Park across the street frequently are loud and go past midnight.
While living in the complex, there was a large prostitution bust in Belltown that included some arrests in the park.
Similar to other reviews, when I moved out the manager (Jacki) stated that my apartment was fine and that I would receive my deposit within a few days. Shortly thereafter I received a bill stating that they demanded money for me for professionally cleaning the apartment and for replacing a carpet. I had left the apartment spotless (much cleaner than when it was given to me), and I had not damaged the rug at all (it was very old and needed replacing when I moved in). No one from the management company would speak with me on the phone. They just threatened to hire a collection agency if I did not pay them immediately.

I agree this building is a nightmare. They now have a mentally ill woman that hangs out downstairs at all hours of the day. Bothering everyone. The management staff is terrible and rude.
