Nice Place, Wrong Location

Lovely Building. Fine full-time onsite managers. Decent indoor parking (outrageously expensive though). Good fixtures & paint. Good attention to decor detail.
Kind of funny then considering no place rents for under one grand that you have daily acts of vandalism including people ripping emergency lighting off the walls, tearing letters down in the foyer to form vulgar references and keying up the stainless steel elevators. Also residents with dogs that crap all over the grounds, even on the roof deck, and never pick it up.
I purposely moved here, knowing I was paying higher than the area average, to get away from college punks and broke hipster idiots that care less about the place they live. Boy was I utterly wrong.
Now throw in the fact it's on the pine street bar corridor(nightly loud drunken screaming) and that you can't walk out the door without running into some foul bum or meth addict.
It leaves you wondering to yourself why you're paying premium rent to live in the ghetto.
