Not the place to live on the hill

While Press has some great amenities, a great roof deck, gym, washer and dryer in each unit, etc. there are some serious issues that one should check into before leasing an apartment there.
First, the noise level at night is deafening. I know you might say, "Well don't live on Capitol Hill idiot." However when you are sick or hung over or just trying to read a book, the worst possible thing in the world is every hipster doofus in the city of Seattle drunkenly screaming because its their 21st birthday. If I could go an evening without hearing someone drunkenly yell "WOOOOOOOOO!!!" I would be ecstatic. The bars themselves are a point of contention as well. While I don't mind listening to a good D.J or live band, I have an issue with "Death Metal Sundays at the Kincora Pub."
Second is the lack of caring of the management. The communtiy manager is a careless, heartless man that doesn't care about anything but his bottom-line. Slow and shiftless are great adjectives to describe him.
Basically, if you are thinking about leasing an apartment here, you should spend some time in the unit and in the neighborhood (especially at night) before you sign the papers. Once you sign the papers you are locked in.
