I am a resident at The Q apartments in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. We pay just under $1700 a month for luxury living , but what I have found is a moldy mess.

I have been complaining to the prior management since November 08 about the mold in my bathroom, specifically above and in my shower. The offered resolution is to have maintenance come in and clean the surface with a bleach solution. Obviously I feel as though I can clean the surface myself, but my concern is that it is saturating the drywall and could potentially be a health risk for my family. Despite all of my voiced concerns to the prior management, absolutely no resolution was discussed or offered other than cleaning the surface.

Our building is currently managed by Indigo Property Management on Mercer Island. I have voiced my concerns to Larissa, the manager. She was quick to send up her new maintenance manager Velid, who apparently is very well educated in all aspects of mold. At this point, I also took it upon myself to contact the American Lung Association to give their opinion as well. It seams the molded area has immensely grown now with black mold on the surface a pink mold under the paint which is now bubbling out. I can smell almost a sweet smell and even after taking a shower, our skin has that same distinct smell. It is absolutely nauseating.

Thats just the start of it! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Dogs urinate all over the place, nothing is said or done. You walk out of the front door into a swarm of flys because the inconsiderate people that live here do not clean up and are not forced to. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls... A complete NIGHTMARE!
