I just received a call from a collection agency concerning our rent owed, and find it amazing how $850 has somehow turned into $3,000. I also find it interesting how they seem to think that we are going to pay them 3000 dollars after they threw away and/or destroyed well over that amount in value of our personal property. Now they are responding to reviews posted here posing as tenants, and making false allegations. Not entirely surprising considering that while we were there, we received a ten day notice telling us that we had flies, garbage and all other manner of crap in our apartment, even though we have witnesses who can state that these allegations were false. I find it even stranger that the same ten day notice was and EXACT Xeroxed copy of a notice given to someone else in the complex about who the allegations were actually TRUE. I also find it interesting that in the review posted by "alan1", he claimed that there was fesces, AND hot garbage all over the apartment, and yet they moved their adult son into our apartment the DAY after we moved out( again, I have witnesses to this fact). Of course if the conditions WERE that bad, when we left, and if they moved their son in the next day, that violates Washington State Health codes. Hmmmm, rather interesting as the removal of our property to a garbage dump was ALSO in violation of landlord/ Tenant laws. We paid our rent on time, and we got 1 ONE MONTH behind in rent, and immediately, because we had just recently received a KCA voucher, which cannot be used in Seattle, we were pushed into signing some legal paperwork asking us to do things that were not even possible to do. including paying 500 dollars on the first, and moving out on the 10thof that same month, which, if we had done so, would have made it impossible to move ANYWHERE. In the end, we were given LESS than 4 days to move out. Now, myself, my pregnant wife, and my 2 young children are living in a hotel, while trying to find somewhere else to live. So if you REALLY want to rent from this type of complex, then feel free, but just know what to expect when you do. Also take note that when they show the pictures of their complex online, the pictures do NOT show all of the complex, but that part of it that they WANT to be seen. Again, your choice if you really want to live here.

This site was just brought to our attention as the NEW Managers at Roosevelt Ridge since January of '06. The property was sold to a NEW Owner and you should really call and come take a look at what is happening on the property since the new owner/management. We are renovating all the units with washer/dryers, new appliances, painted the outside to make the curb appeal much more attractive, as well as renovating the building appearance. We now have onsite managers that care about the work to be done both inside and out. The security doors to the garages have all been repaired and are in good working order. Extensive backgrounds are done on both tenant and employee. We look forward to showing you our "new look". Trish- Resident Manager
