I was tempted into signing a lease by the view. The view is incredible. But that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. When we first moved in, we soon found out that our next door neighbors were drug dealers. They would wiz out on coke until 5am on Monday and Tuesday nights. Random people would always come down our hallway looking for the right apartment at 3am to get their coke fix.

Once, I had to run out to the car to grab my laptop, and when I returned, their were two cokeheads in my apartment asking for "Robert." I asked thm if they were looking for their coke dealer, and said that he lives next door.

After they moved, we had a hooker move in above us. Not like a cool hooker with a heart of gold like Pretty Women, but a 40-year-old, "I need Meth, so let me smoke this rock and you can make me do anything for $20." She would come come at random times in the middle of the night with her 4-inch heels and some random dude.

I have many more stories, but really, they are all equally depressing. Seriously, for the amount they charge in rent, just rent a condo in Madrona or Madison Park. It's just not worth it. There's a reson why this place has a 19% approval rating.

OK, here's another one- They towed my car at 6:00am the morning of my 4th and final interview because my parking pass was turned around the wrong way. Rather than just looking through one of the side windows to verify, they just called in a tow truck. Equally perplexing is the fact they ask you to write down the make/model and license plate # of your car to verify a car is, in fact, owned by a resident. Needless to say, I had to call a cab to tow yard ($35), get bent over at the tow place ($376) and easily missed my interview and was not invited to another opportunity ($65,000/yr). Thanks you Shangri La. PS - Cathy sucks big time.
