i just moved in to a one bedroom a couple of months ago, and so far, this place is really good. It's nothing super fancy, but everyone in the building is respectful and pretty quiet, but not very many people are overtly friendly. but that's cool, i dont live here to make friends, the quieter my neighbors the better :) The new managers did all of my paperwork when i moved in and they seem really cool. they've fixed some little things around my place already. i thought being close to aurora would suck, but i haven't seen any seedy people spill over into my area...yet. I'll keep you posted.

As a 1 br resident for ~5 months, I'd agree with your assessment of the lack of Aurora seedy. I was worried about it too but it's neighborhood-like. Biggest noise isn't from Aurora but the nearby Comcast and City Light diesels but they're only bad if you're hung over and trying to sleep in. Also, being on the windward side but above the front door our 1 br side gets wafts of cigarette smoke and traps smoke from my BBQ on the balcony. I guess if you can't stand cigarette smoke (like a previous reviewer) then the 1 br units are not for you but it's not bad in my unit.
