Like several others, I read the negative reviews on this site with some surprise. I think it speaks to the tendency for people who are unhappy with an apartment complex to go online and write reviews, and happy people to do nothing.

I've been here for about 15 months and have been very happy. The rent is a little on the pricey side, but for the amenities (incl. covered parking, in apt W/D, DW, etc.) I think it's worth it.

The courtyard, common areas and rooftop decks are really nice and well kept. I use the workout room frequently as well and it's a great feature!

The location is great, a 10 minute bus ride to either downtown or the UW. Capitol Hill is a 10-20 minute walk away. I walk my dogs all around the neighborhood twice a day, and if you avoid going to Union St., I've never felt uncomfortable or unsafe around here.

I haven't had to deal with management or maintenance too much so far, so I can't speak to that part of the experience, but my overall experience here has been great.

Hey dirtyheel I believe you catagorizing people who had bad expereince a 'unhappy people' certainly make you sound quite shallow and one-dimensional.

Thanks for the response; I clarified the review to indicate that I meant "people who are unhappy with the apartment rather than unhappy people in general. I'm not quite sure how that mis-statement can be generalized to me as a person (thus making me "shallow and one-dimensional") but I appreciate the feedback.
