I have a 6 month lease at the Bayview. My largest complaint has been the cockroach problem. The management has been quick to respond to this and other minor problems (toilet, shower, and radiator problems). But after 4 visits from the exterminators, they are still here. And the solution is almost as bad as the problem since I have to pack up half my apartment to clear space for the treatments. In addition, there is loud construction nextdoor early every weekday morning. Building security is lacking, people block the doors open and let people in, my bike seat was stolen. I've smelled cigarette smoke in the hallways, I can hear my loud neighbors' music and conversations. People yelling up to tenants from outside, homeless sleeping in the alley. In short, the location is convenient, but it's not worth the noise and unsafe feeling.
