I lived here right after the remodel was completed and took a six month lease. I was new to seattle and have to say that I loved living there. The location is great and I loved the funky apartments which were clean & well decorated.
It had everything I needed, but ultimately I moved up to capitol hill which is just as convienient for me, but where I could get a larger apartment (granted without the pool/gym/concierge etc) for less money.
Some things that did piss me off:
the cost of parking which was astronomical
if im paying for premium rent, I think water bills should be either included in the price OR each apt should have its own meter. They are in most other places I've lived - I think that makes the management company look really tight fisted.
there are only two elevators... sometimes I used to run down the 17 floors from my apartment just because waiting in the morning can take a while. I guess thats the payoff for a funky '70s building instead of a bland '90s one.
The lobby & mezzanine looked really cool & the apartments were done well - but I wish they had ran more with the 70s schtick of the building.
