Noisy and unkept

We've lived here for a year. When we moved in they said they'd fix our deck in two weeks. It's still not fixed, but another tenent's deck collapsed and injured people, so now they say they will finally fix them all. They can't fix anything. Our heat doesn't work either, and our fireplace chimney is too dirty to have a fire without smoking up the place. The repairman never does any necessary repairs, but he did give us a new globe for our light after we asked him several times. It is NOISY here! People are always honking in the parking lot, and music is loud every night. There are lots of fights and people throwing rocks and lighting fireworks in the parking lot. The police know the place well. I've had no problems with any thefts like the other reviewer, just lots of noise. Management wouldn't even do a pre-move-in inspection with us... they did it themselves and then said "everything's perfect, sign here". Yeah right, I made my own list and made her sign it. It's a page long. Parking situation sucks. Parking is assigned but no one cares. They don't tow if you're in the wrong spot, but if they did there wouldn't be a single car in the lot. Rent is cheap but they should be paying me to live here. We also live with german cockroaches. This review was written on August 12, 2004.
