If you read these reviews it's quite obvious that they are written by the apartment management. You may notice that the last three reviews were written on the same day 02/06 and are titled "center of this or center of that" and read like a bad advertisement and that ------ (the manager) has even responded to one of the reviews - the only accurate one). This is how stupid they think people are. The fact that they'd do this should be warning enough that you should not move here unless you want a leasing office who is sneaky and dishonest. I lived at this complex and only wish that the leasing office spent half the time that they apparently spend faking reviews on this website as they did addressing tenant issues. For example, when my boyfriend and I lived there smoke practically filled our apartment from our neighbors. When we told ------ and her brother who is the maintenance guy (I forget his name) they acted like we were crazy and pretty much ignored us. The fact that she could hire her brother (who is incompetent and just stands around smoking outside all day) should be a red flag to you. All they do is provide bad service and then make excuses for it. Very expensive. Only good for meek people who don't have any expectations. They also will charge you for normal wear and tear when you move out so kiss your deposit goodbye despite the fact that they won't use your money to fix the apartment and instead charge the next tenant for those same things too.

I am extremely saddened and dissapointed to learn that a previous tenant had such a horrific experience living here and thinks so little of my staff and myself. I strongly encourage them to contact me so that we can discuss and possibly recitify matters.

I want to reassure all readers that as the Building Manager, I would never jeopordize my personal integrity or that of the property and post (or allow) a review, posing as a tenant. In addition to an Exit-Interview conducted and managed by our Corporate Office, we regularly refer current and past tenants to ApartmentRatings.com and ask them to post a review of the property. As a result, the postings in question were submitted.

In regards to the other comments made, I respect the individuals feedback and have already addressed them with my staff.

Please feel free to contact me at 206.340.8882 or by email slkirihara@lorig.com
Thank you.

The reviews here are not fakes. My review has my email address and does not hide behind an anonymous post. Your post just slams the staff and even the tenants calling them meek without expectations. You lowball all of the ratings without any explanation, and your only real complaint seems to be "smoke practically filled our apartment from our neighbors." I'm not sure how that would have happened, but if it did I'm sure the staff here would have given you the oppurtunity to move to another apartment. As for the last statement, you have no way of knowing what they do or don't do with the deposit money (I know my apartment was freshly painted and cleaned when I moved in) and before you move in they review the apartment with you and any damage is noted so you would not be charged with it when moving out.

As for the other "only accurate" post, it was blown out of proportion. "Jack up the rent", my rent went down after the first year, though I expect it will go back up next time. The building is not "largely vacant", but they must take great care who they lease to as a priority over filling up apartments because in two years I have yet to see a bad tenant or have a noise/party/music problem. The staff is great, they do close at 6:00 but I would think that is pretty much the norm for apartment offices and they do have Saturday hours. The trash room is not constantly overflowing, though it gets full on Sunday night/Monday morning. The dog notice posted was once in the past two years letting an unspecified tenant know their dog was barking the entire time they were away and it needed to be taken care of immediately or measures would be taken. Personally I was glad to see that notice and know if someone moved in beside me with a dog like that it would be taken care of. Access to the apartments are not "constant" but twice a year for inspections, one being the annual fire/smoke alarm inspection. And yes, the garage gets full on weekends with shoppers for the grocery store, but the trade off is you live over that same grocery store and that's pretty darn convienent for downtown Seattle.

Try using honest, constructive critisism instead of just bashing people.
